| Mini Trek Itinerary (min 6 persons) Dates of start 2003/2004: 21st October, 11th November and every three weeks after that. Sarawak - 1,2 or 3 Weeks Day 1 - Arrive Miri airport, pickup and transfer to TreeTops transit lodge; overnight. Day 2 - Visit beach and town and overnight at TreeTops again. Day 3 - Depart for Bario by light aircraft. Stay at Plateau Lodge in Bario or local house. First walk to the original longhouses of Bario (Bario Asal and Arur Dalan) and back via the village of Ramapuh. Day 4 - Bario loop (3 days) . Early start from Bario-Pa Main-Long Danu-Pa Dahli-Ramudu and return. Day 5, 6 & 7 - En route as above. Flight back to Miri end of week 1 or walk to Ba'Kllelan via jungle shelter (3 days). Day 7-12 - (Week 2) Bario-Pa Lungan-Long Repung-Ba'Kelelan, then 4-wheel drive to Lawas via Long Semado. Overnight at "Southern Comfort" jungle lodge on the river just outside Lawas. Days 13-19 (Week 3) Overland via the Headhunter's Trail to Mulu National Park to see the World Heritage caves and pinnacles. Return to Miri end of week 3. Day 20 - Arrive Miri. Overnight TreeTops Lodge. (You can also join these mini-treks at the end of weeks 1 or 2. Depending on weather and flight availability; these may also operate in reverse - please check with us!)
