Seaside Travellers Inn, Kinarut. Kinabalu
Seaside Travellers Inn is a family-run establishment located in the Malaysian state of Sabah in Borneo. The Inn is situated in a scenic area with the Beach House built right at the edge of Kinarut seashore facing the South China Sea and some beautiful islands. With only 24 rooms, the Inn is designed for families and those on a moderate budget looking for a relaxed holiday with personalised service. It has a nice new swimming pool with waterfall and sun loungers, a bar and small restaurant, canoes and boat hire, tennis and badminton, and for your excursions, there is a local taxi service which is used to the demands of tourists plus the various "in-house" tours to Mt. Kinabalu etc.

Syabas Beach Resort, Kinarut. Kinabalu As an alternative to the Seaside Inn and with a more Australian/European flavour, some might prefer the privacy of their own fully equipped chalet at the Syabas Beach Resort. Meals too have a more western flavour, with steak and sausages a speciality. Another attraction are the in-house boat trips aboard their 40 ft catamaran "Fat Cat" to the islands nearby.
This 18 chalet resort is located
approximately 10 minutes drive from the
Airport, and 20 minutes from Kota Kinabalu which is the
State Capital of Sabah with a population of some 300,000. The 18 chalets are of various sizes/configurations built in a circle around a central swimming pool with some chalets being individual units whilst some are semi detached. All chalets are approximately 100 meters from the beach and they all have their own verandahs. |
