Specialized Mini -Treks (1 to 3 weeks)

Departing every month (subject to demand and minimum numbers), this is the chance to join a mini-tour (min. 4 persons, max 12) that really does include almost everything -  internal travel, accommodation, guides and even entrance fees! 

Although not for the faint-hearted, this is the way to "Discover Borneo" in all its fascinating detail: instead of lazing around a five-star resort with all its inflated prices and synthetic attractions, you will be visiting the real rainforest, walking with the local tribespeople from village to village, travelling on the great rivers and staying  in locally run rest houses, lodges and hotels.

After your initial stay at the Lodge, it's off to the Highlands of Sarawak, an area that time has forgotten and where there are literally no roads in or out. A three day walk with local guides to the next village through jungle hillsides, paddy fields and cool mountainside (5000 ft up) completes this unique experience  and return to "civilization" is by light aircraft (1 week) or continue second week by foot to Ba'Kelelan and down the mountains to Lawas; from there it is up the Head Hunters' Trail and to Mulu  for the third week. 

This special all inclusive itinerary will cover  your travel, accommodation and meals "in house", plus transfers and guides where necessary. The only extras will be those you choose, like eating out or taxis.
